Free Public Event: Learn to Meditate in Half a Day- Saturday, March 13, 10am-noon. Do something good for yourself. Come spend this Saturday morning learning how to quiet your thoughts, experience a sense of stillness and peacefulness, and improve your concentration, relaxation and alertness - all in this free introductory event.

New location for Mount Vernon Classes: The Same Ol Grind, 508 S. First Street. Check it out on Friday nights at the new time - 6:30-8pm - every Friday night

New Class: "Just Meditation", Wednesday evenings 6:30-7pm - for those looking for - what else - just meditation!

Lunchtime Meditation is now just 45 minutes - noon to 12:45 pm - to help out for those who want to try to catch a meditation break on their lunch hour and still have time for a bite.

Dharmakirti Buddhist Center offers Kadampa Buddhist teachings and is dedicated to helping busy people find inner peace and happiness based in wisdom and compassion.

Dharmakirti Buddhist Center is an oasis of peace and refuge nestled between Bellingham's Old Town and its vibrant new Arts Districts. The center offers the community a variety of introductory meditation classes as well as a formal study program, workshops and day courses, and retreats throughout the year.
